By the end of your course you ll be ready to enter our club races in the last week of the summer season. Week or weekend? We offer week and weekend courses leading to national certificates of sailing standards. All ages and skill levels are welcome. Courses will be running from 1st of June to the 30th of September. All clothing and equipment is provided. Your instructor will allocate the craft most suited to your level of experience. Evening activities After a day on the lake come along to our evening classes in the Club House. Topics for discussion include: navigation basic, intermediate and advanced sailing skills first aid healthy eating at sea coping with isolation. (Unfortunately these evening sessions must be restricted to adults only because of the Club House bar licence.) Hospitality Meals are available at the club though you may wish to explore some of the excellent local facilities. Accommodation can be arranged on request. When you are not on the water, relax in the peaceful surroundings of the small market town which is just a few minutes walk from the Marlin Sailing Club. che facility is available or you can leave the children in our instructors capable hands whilst you have a well-earned break.
